Middle School Madness 3v3 Youth Basketball Rules and Regulations

Tournament Format

• Max number of players per roster is 4

• All teams must have 1 coach

• Single elimination

• 12 min games with a running clock

• First team to reach 21 points wins

• Clock stops only for fouls or coaches challenges

• Half court

• Regulation size 29.5 Ball

Rules

• Games are make it take it

• 1s and 2s (inside 3 pt=1 pt. outside 3 pt=2 pt)

• 6 foul out

• 2 tech disqualification

• Foul on the floor: player team retains possession

• Shooting foul: made basket +3pts(basket+ft)/missed basket +1pt

• Every player and coach must show good sportsmanship

• No arguing between anyone or you will be subject to disqualification or removal from the premises

• Players must be in middle school to participate

• ALL athletes grade level will be checked

• Each team must have a team captain

• Any player/coach/team violating tournament rules will be disqualified from the tournament and no refunds

• All decisions of the officials are final

• All issues/situations will be handled on a case to case basis

• Coaches challenge:

  • Each team gets 1 challenge per game

  • Only used for fouls or scoring disputes

  • 1v1 foul rule: fouled player 1v1 against player who fouled

  • Only worth 1 point

  • Ball checked top key
